The Insta-Dent Cosmetic Denture Alternative™ was created by Sidney Schneider, an innovator and certified denturist with over 45 years experience in the dental industry. Sid saw first hand the many problems people faced being fitted for dentures and the frustrations that followed with day to day use. His objective was to create a denture that would fit easily and comfortably and be economical.
He wanted to create a quality alternative denture that:
- Looked like a traditional denture
- Is more comfortable than a traditional denture, and
- People could use at home.
- Returns facial structure
- Gives people new self-confidence and self-esteem
- Gives a beautiful smile

As a consultant for Sandoz Pharmaceuticals, Sidney advised and participated in the creation of some of the most innovative dental tools & materials used in the industry today.
Sidney owned and operated the Schneider Dental Clinic in Netcong, NJ for 40 years, retiring in 2000. He began his career at the New York School of Mechanical Dentistry, graduating in 1955. Sid is a Certified Denturist and has been a member of the National Denturist Assoc. since 1976. He became a member of the Society of American Inventors in 1982 and holds numerous patents.
